Eurotech Fire Systems Ltd, based in Waterlooville, have raised over £13,000 so far to support the Queen Alexandra (QA) Hospital in Portsmouth. In 2022, they took on a 15,000ft skydive, in 2023 one of the team took on a marathon and in early August this year they conquered the Spinnaker Tower!
Portsmouth Hospitals Charity is very close to the heart of senior members of Eurotech after the team cared for their parents. Managing Director, Michelle Agius said: “During 2020 and 2021 Caron, Vincent and I sadly lost our wonderful parents Barbara and Vince Agius. We chose Portsmouth Hospitals Charity in memory of our wonderful parents. The QA Hospital did a fantastic job of looking after and caring for them.”
Ten people including friends, family and colleagues of Eurotech took on the challenge of abseiling down the Spinnaker Tower raising nearly £4,000!
Kate Sandys, Head of Charity said: “We are so grateful to everyone involved in the events with Eurotech Fire Systems LTD and always look forward to what their next challenge will be. We love seeing the local community come forward and support their local hospital, especially when they have seen first-hand what a difference it can make to patients and their families. A great legacy that they can continue in memory of their loved ones.”
Eurotech are already looking ahead for their next fundraiser to continue supporting Portsmouth Hospitals Charity.
Thank you so much to them for getting involved and everyone who has supported them.
